It was wonderful to imagine, that listeners all over the world are singing with me. And today…

Today I asked them to activate “Voice-Chat” … and to sing along .. and they did!!!!!! *lol* …

Well… my RL is very busy atm. I had some (good and bad) changes in my RL.

I’m doing more webdesigns and less music – and I’m enjoying it. After 3 hard month with less work now its getting better and I got new clients. Woohoooo

In March my car finally broke down. I had to order a new one on April 1st – haven’t got it yet. In Germany car-dealers are offering 2.500 Euros for your old car if you buy a new one (if your old car is older than 9years – mine was 8 years old *lol*), so many people are buying new cars now and that is why I have to wait.. and wait… and wait. I will post a pic of my new car when it’ll finally arrive.

And Second Life? I don’t have much concerts at SL. I still love to sing and I still love to do this for the SL-ppl, but RL have to have first priority now. And sometimes I’m missing my old SL-friends too… and “good old times”. Think this is the way (second) life goes. Friends come and go… some of them stay. Thanks to those who are still at my side!

My prefab-shop DBT is running ok. Got more sales since I rezzed all houses and took away the vendor. I’m happy that ppl like my creations. But somehow I’m not good in advertising my spot. So if you read this, please go to my shop called “DBT Prefabs” and add it to “Picks” at your profile to spread the word about it. Pleeeeaaase! It helps me paying the tier.

Right after my show Nath Diesel climbed the stage. She is so young and talented. Her voice is powerful with a huge range. Her manager told me, that this power is part of the brazilian music. I loved her brazilian songs even I didn’t understand a word … Well done, Missy!!!

And then… Blue4u! One of the first Blues-Ladies of Second Life. I love your originals, Blue! Wish I could write own songs, too *sigh* … I will try soon. It was an honor to have you playing at SOUL JAM!

I wanted to wish you all a merry christmas.. but I think, I’m a bit late now. Well, on Dec 25th I got real sick. I don’t know how the english and american people measure fever… I had good old german fever – 39,8 ° Celsius. And I couldn’t do more than staying in bed for 3 days and laying on my sofa for 2 more days. And now? I’m still feeling a bit dizzy… and my voice is gone again .. think its because of that dry cough I had for days. And I’m kinda deaf in one ear…. but HEY … I’m feeling gooood! *lol*

Hope you all had a wonderful christmas time with your family and friends!

You know what’s really strange? I’m feeling good! Life was hard too me last few weeks… the story bout my car…. one member of my family got seriously sick … bills, bills, bills ….. being sick myself … this was a BAD December!!!! But I know, that good times are coming now. Don’t know why… just a feeling …

Hope my voice will be back end of the week to sing in SL. Two concerts are planned – hope I can make it. Watch out for the group-notices inworld!

I had two gigs in real life today. I drove to the first performance … it went well… I drove back home. 5 km before my hometown the engine of my car suddenly stopped working. I said: Ok, lets have a break, dear “Opel”! One minute later, my car decided to drive again. I arrived home, called my brother (he’s a motor mechanic). “Sis, go to the repair shop tomorrow!” … As my car was working again, I started driving to my second gig. After a few Kilometers… same again: engine stopped working. Started the engine again.. drove 100 meters -stop ….. start… stop… start… 100 meters… stop … start .. stop… *kicking the car* … start … start…. start… 150 meters… stop ….. I called my brother “Hey Bro, I have a gig in 1 hour, engine is down” … So my brother picked me up and brought me to my second gig. Gig went well, my mom was in the audience and she brought me back to my car we left somewhere in the fields. We wanted to bring my car to the repair shop.  So I tried to start the engine ….. 100 meters… stop … I prayed… started engine … 1,5 kilometers (!!!) … stop … tried to start.. empty.. nothing… dead .. 6 kilometers left to the repair shop … AMEN! … So we pushed the car to a  parking lot and drove back home with my mom’s car. Have to call repair shop tomorrow morning *sigh* … I was so tired.. and so sad… I asked mom to bring a bottle of sparkling wine (by the way: I’m living next door to my parents). It took only 15 minutes to empty this bottle and get completely drunk. I’m no longer sad… I’M DRUNK and numb… normally I don’t drink much alkohol… but today… well…

The only thing I have to say now: I love you all… good night!

I love to own SOUL JAM. Its a very special project to me. Its my playground for being creative in SL. And the SOUL WARMING PARTY was really-soul warming for me! To see, that the people enjoyed the place and the music. Just having a good time there. And even when Jaggpro finished his concert, some ppl stayed at SOUL JAM having fun

Grace McDunnough climbed the stage at 12 pm right after my own concert. Smooth as silk… a touching, warm voice and her setlist was filled with covers and originals. Thank you so much, Grace!!

Noma, Noma, Noma… what can I say? You found the right way to bring SOUL to SOUL JAM Perfect bass, perfect voice.. simply perfect! Thank you!

Last but not least my friend Jaggpro played for us. And he had to get up really early because of the different time zone. Thank you, Mr. Aussie *hugs* … It really means a lot to me, that you are still part of my SL and of SOUL JAM I love your voice and your style playing guitar!

moving the website

Yesterday I got a very kind offer of my friend Franky. He asked me if I’d like to use his server for my weblog and live-music-stream… woohooo! So I moved the website and Franky was veeery patient in helping me with all that new stuff. I had some problems with moving the content of this page from the old database to the new one. Some links didn’t work right. I found the solution at the german wordpress-forum, did what they told and … voilá …. everything is working fine without causing any “Internal Server Errors”… and I learned a lot by getting this done

Even the new music-stream is working!! I will use it as soon my rental period of my current stream has ended… maybe February 09.

Thank you soooo much for your support getting things done, dear Franky!!

Got a message of one of the sim-managers at my new place: ETD is selling every hairy thing for only 30L$! Well.. I went shopping! *grin*
